Is the course valid in India?

As a UK postgraduate medical qualification, awarded by the British Universities, is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI) as a valid postgraduate qualification as per the official Medical Council of India website.

The Indian Ministery of Health & Family Welfare notified that:

“All postgraduate medical qualifications awarded in the United Kingdom and recognised for enrolment as medical practitioners in the concerned specialities in that country”

How can I take admission in UK without PLAB?

PLAB is not required for those who are taking a Post Graduate course by sponsorship arrangement approved by GMC

Is the course clinical or research based?

All our programmes are clinical programs and you will be getting in hand experience in the concerned speciality. Programs have their clinical exposures in the respective associated NHS Hospital.

Do I need to write any exam to practice in India?

No. MCI recognises PG degrees of Five countries only namely USA, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Are we allowed to practice in UK after the course?

If one wants to practice in UK then one has to get into specialist register by taking membership of concerned college/society. Only degree from UK doesn’t make you eligible to practice in UK.

what will be approximate living cost?

Approx living cost in London is GBP 1215/month and Outside London is GBP 1015/month. The said figure is your maintenance and living cost in UK as per UKBA requirements.

Actual Expenses comes around 5-7 Lakh/year.

Which visa will be granted?

Tier 4 Genaral Student Visa.
