Board of Governors of the Medical Council of India has proposed DNB exam for foreign PG Medical Graduates who completed their course from other than five English Speaking countries. Also, the qualification will be taken equivalent to DNB in India where as PG Qualifications from UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand will be taken equivalent to MD/MS/DM/MCH as the case may be. Also, the Govt of India in their Gazette notification clearly stated that PG qualifications from these five English-speaking countries will be eligible to take up teaching appointments in Medical Colleges in India as Assistant Professor.
